Mini Food Reviews ! The Armoparty.com food critics hit the streets once again! Arlo's North End Seafood & BBQ Okay, so it is the North end of the Brookfields, but this place beats any seafood restaurant on the pier. Their fried haddock lunch special is fantastic, and the price is reasonable. It comes with fries and slaw, which are also very good. They know how to make the fish come out just right, it will break in your hand but is not soggy. It was so great that we went back the next day for the fried chicken strips. Good stuff. Refills were free on the soda too ! They do have a pub in the back and they stay open rather late for dinner, give them a call for specific hours. Arlo's also offers all types of appetizers and some nice dinner specials too. We are headed back there again to try the ice cream menu. So if you want lunch for under ten bucks, and you can spare a few minuites. Similar to a colossal western burger from Friendly’s but better. It was an off time, late on a Sunday night, but the fries were weak – a little cold Our resident chicken strips connoisseur gave their Fried Chicken Strips dinner a 6 out of 10. So if your out that way late at night and Tennessee’s BBQ is closed, then give Bennigan’s a try- you won’t regret it but you probably won’t rave about it either. |

Specialty Sandwich Company This place is Awesome ! Located on Main St. in Holden, near the State Police Barracks They have great sandwiches, and even their salad is excellent. Most of their stuff has a Greek influence, which makes for a decent chicken quesadilla, kinda like a cross between a kabob sandwich and a quesadilla. They do not have a soda fountain, but you can park a truck in their yard.
